Natalie is a climate resilience planner and urbanist. Her professional interests center on urban climate adaptation and mitigation and its intersection with public space, infrastructure, and waterfronts.

A dedicated civil servant, she works on climate and waterfront capital planning as part of the NYC Department of Transportation's Resiliency team. Her previous roles include those at NYC Emergency Management, with a portfolio spanning resiliency infrastructure and funding to disaster planning, and as a fellow supporting local open space initiatives with Friends of the High Line and the NYC Mayor’s Office of Climate & Environmental Justice. She is also a co-founder of the open space urbanism collective BERM. Dedicated to her community, she brings additional experience from local non-profits and as a volunteer climate organizer. She previously worked in media production.

Natalie holds a graduate degree in Urban Planning from Columbia GSAPP and a B.A. in Environmental Studies from Fordham University. A Massachusetts native, she has lived in New York City for more than a decade.
